Description
A humorous but pertinent look at the problems faced by disabled people, including other people’s attitudes towards them. Produced by a group of young disabled and able-bodied people, the programme follows the progress of a young able-bodied boy as he attempts to carry out a number of seemingly simple everyday tasks in a wheelchair, and it is interspersed with stories and anecdotes by young disabled people.
Made in 1987 this film reflects the cultural attitudes, medical procedures and language of the time it was made. The imagery and film quality may not be to modern standards. But the issues raised are timeless.
