David Niven died of Motor Neurone Disease, a little known illness with no cure. The video narated by Sally Miles, herself a sufferer who also talks to others, showing the courage and the strength and support of their families in the face of the tragedy of this wasting disease.

This film made in 1986 reflects the medical understanding of the time it was made and may not reflect modern procedures. The imagery and film quality may not be to modern standards but is useful for historical use.
