Emphasises the need to follow instructions correctly when taking antibiotics, viz take the full course, don’t miss doses, taken on an empty stomach – and warning what to do if the tablets make you ill and/or if you are a woman on the pill. For lay audiences, notably patients whom have just received a prescription for antibiotic tablets.

This film made in 1989 reflects the medical understanding and treatment and language of the time it was made. The imagery and film quality may not be to modern standards but is useful for archival use.
