Description
On May 24th, 1983, over a million women in 25 different countries across the world demonstrated for peace. In Britain, over 600 separate actions took place up and down the country and this film documents some of the actions taken by women in London on that day. Despite the large numbers of women involved, there was surprisingly little coverage of the events in the British press or on television and the film looks at some of the possible reasons for this.
