Description
The precursor of the violence in Northern Ireland was the growth of the non-violent Civil Rights Campaign. What happened to it? How did it disappear when it had been making all the headlines? This film shows how the movement was discredited in violent attacks on police vehicles during a demonstration in Newry and asks some pertinent questions. Who were the violent men? Why did the police stand by and not interfere with the wreckers?
