Description
Deals with the care of the dying. Jean Lovell chose to die at home and the pain was controlled by very strong drugs. Jean Corke died in hospital though her family were with her often. She would have preferred to choose her own time to die, but could not.
Made in 1982 this film reflects the cultural attitudes, medical procedures and language of the time it was made. The imagery and film quality may not be to modern standards. But the issues raised are timeless.
