Description
From memories of our mothers’ kitchens to description of the modern home, this film collage tells of women’s lives in and beyond the kitchen. Women in their homes, in the shops, at work and being paid, in kitchens, working. The many different views expressed should start a lively discussion.
Made by unemployed and underemployed people at Swindon Media Arts Lab, as part of unpaid on-the-job training.
Made in 1987 this film reflects the cultural attitudes and language of the time it was made. The issues raised are timeless. The film quality may not be to modern standards.
