Description
The journalist Bel Mooney reveals what it is like to give birth to a stillborn child. In this forthright and perceptive interview with the actress Sheila Hancock it transpires that many hospital staff find this a very difficult situation to deal with. By expressing her own deep and complex emotions – guilt, anger, frustration and a numbing sense of failure – she helps other people in similar situations to cope in a more sensitive and helpful way. Although made some years ago, it is still very moving and relevant.
