Description
In June 1976 demonstrations started peacefully in Soweto, protests against the many injustices in the poor township for blacks which is close to the rich white suburbs of Johannesburg. When the police opened fire on the demonstrators, riots started, many people were killed or maimed, and buildings burnt and looted. This film considers the causes and the consequences of these events.
