One of two documentary film studies of the long-term effects of physical violence. This film looks at rape, mugging and assault from the victim’s viewpoint, and at murder through the eyes of families left behind. The effectiveness of the help available is assessed and, through the personal experiences of the victims, we are shown the difficulties to be overcome if they are not to be victims for life.
