Description

A family therapy session which was originally conducted by Dr John Byng-Hall is portrayed by professional actors. The metaphor of a seesaw is used to explore how fights are balanced in the family. The seesaw is later transformed into scales of justice. Both metaphors lead to suggestions about better ways to resolve family conflict. The principles behind selecting metaphors and using them to promote change are discussed.
