Description
Tells of 20 year old Bryan’s desperate fight against his addiction to glue sniffing which has wrecked his life and ended with him setting fire to his flat, leaving him homeless and destitute. We see him covered in glue, frothing at the mouth and staggering down the streets of South Shields. Bryan is now determined to kick the habit, and hopes that the film will make others think about it. ‘I just hope any other youngsters dabbling with the stuff will see what it’s done to me and ask themselves if it’s worth it’, he says
This film is of historical interest and reflects the cultural attitudes, medical procedures and language of the time it was made. But the issues raised may be timeless.
