Series of twenty-six short trigger films designed for use in professional training programmes to help initiate role play and promote discussion. Shot from the viewpoint of a member of staff confronted by problematic incidents. Includes getting clients in and out of bed, sexual provocation or harassment, accusations of theft or racism, and ‘impossible’ demands clients make on staff. Notes. Audience: social workers, residential and day care staff
This film is of historical interest and reflects the cultural attitudes, medical procedures and language of the time it was made. But the issues raised may be timeless.
