An example of faith and conscience in action. This programme documents the events of Peace Pentecost in 1983 in Washington, from the ecumenical worship service in the Washington Cathedral, attended by 2,500 people, to the civil disobedience action at the Capitol Rotunda and arrest of 242 people. Shows the preparation people underwent, and captures the spirit of faith and worship that pervaded every action.
The imagery and film quality may not be to modern standards but is useful for historical use.
