Description
The power station pumps quantities of hot water under pressure to houses, factories and greenhouses in a large area around the power station. In this way, the fuel is used to the maximum – 70-75% efficiency instead of the normal 40-45%. This pioneering scheme is now being copied in other places.
Made in 1984 this film reflects the cultural attitudes of the country and language of the time it was made. The film quality may not be to modern standards. The issues raised are timeless.
