Description
Bereavement is hard to bear, but especially so for lesbians and gay men, who often find themselves rejected by the families of their partners, and unable to mourn openly. Based on four powerful interviews, the programme examines the grieving process. Poetry, music and letters give space for the audience to make contact with their own feelings of loss and bereavement.
This film is of historical interest and reflects the cultural attitudes, and language of the time it was made. But the issues raised may be timeless.
