Description
For over two years the Government attempted to conceal the truth about the events surrounding the sinking of the Belgrano on May 2, 1982. Eventually the Foreign Affairs Select Committee published a lengthy report on July 22, l985, just as Parliament went into recess. The report was never debated and so the Belgrano Action Group held an enquiry in Hampstead Town Hall in November 1986 in an attempt to make the public aware of the facts. The film shows excerpts from evidence given by Tam Dalyell, Clive Ponting and Ian Mikardo.
