Description
Classic Czech cartoon about a fisherman and his small son, who discover that a rocket site has been established near their home. The man goes and pins a notice ‘peace’ on the fence, but he is killed. His blood stains the ground, and from the patch of earth emerge beautiful red flowers. Military forces try to eradicate them but watched and tended by the little boy they grow and spread, eventually overcoming the powers of destruction. A beautifully created film with no dialogue or commentary.
