Description

Young people from India, Botswana, South Africa and England talk about their lives. Significant cultural differences are demonstrated although all are involved with the life tasks associated with adolescence. Attitudes to parents, friends, education, a career; and anger, submission, ambivalence and a preoccupation with oneself are all amply demonstrated. Part of a series of programmes by Malcolm Brown, who made the Talking About..’ series. For teaching and learning purposes, the human life span is divided into 12 linked stages, from the pre-school child to the very old.
