Description
A dramatisation, based on young people’s experiences, of the powers of the police, and young people’s legal rights under the Police and Criminal Evidence Act 1984. Dez is playing a new game – the New Bill – in an amusement arcade after school. Suddenly the machine malfunctions and Dez disappears. To his friends’ astonishment he reappears on the machine’s screen and they watch as he is stopped by the police, arrested and eventually taken to a police station. How long can the police detain him?
