A dramatised training documentary, using drama students, about metastasis in breast cancer, and the family repercussions as death approaches. It demonstrates the value of the self help group and mutual support in painful illness which PLUS Self Help Association was founded to promulgate. Many in this situation seek spiritual consolation, and this aspect is shown in a Christian context. This aspect of care in the community is a complement to the provision of medical, nursing, social work and home care services, and shows the value of continuing informal contact in chronic and life threatening illness; both with the patient and the family.
