Anti-nuclear protest at Sizewell in 1982.

Description

In September 1982 a group of anti-nuclear supporters walked from London to Sizewell, to draw attention to the public enquiry on the siting of a PWR type nuclear reactor. The film tries to explore the motivation of some of the marchers and to discover why they took part in non-violent actions culminating in the placing of a decorative windmill on the ground cleared for the reactor. It is hoped that the film will be useful in generating discussion on this form of protest and why some people think it is necessary.
