Description
Two Englishmen were in Nagasaki as Japanese prisoners of war the day the second atom bomb was dropped. They were repairing a shelter and so miraculously escaped unharmed, but when they clambered out they saw devastation and horribly mutilated people running, burnt and dying. Now (1984) 39 years later, they have returned. The city is completely rebuilt. Survivors are shown years later having undergone extensive surgery. This bomb had only one tenth the power of just one of the 16 Trident missiles carried on each of Britain’s four missile carrying submarines.
