Description
“You must pardon all my madness for the solid bits between.” – M.H.W. Latimer. Martin Latimer was diagnosed schizophrenic when he was 20; he died five years later. He left behind paintings, diaries, stories and poems. Five years on, his sister, a film maker, has made a film based on Martin’s work and writings, intercut with informative interviews with mental health professionals. This programme offers us a way past our society’s fear of mental illness, to the individual involved.
