This videoed tape/slide show now on DVD is based on two years’ research work with Asian teenage girls in the Midlands. Aimed primarily at a white audience, its intention is to question some of the stereotyped notions which exist about the lives of all Asian girls in Britain. It is of particular interest to those concerned with the general presentation of black people in the media.
