Description
Are young people playing truant from school and cheeking the teachers so different from the reluctant pupils of the early part of this century?. This Television Workshop production lets a group of school refusers in London investigate the whole tradition of protest in schools, including interviewing old people about their experiences.
Made in 1984 this film reflects the cultural attitudes of the country and language of the time it was made. The issues raised are timeless. The film quality may not be to modern standards.
