Description
The immigration laws have been changed so that couples are split up. Women who are British citizens may not bring their foreign husbands into the country, unless they were born in Britain, but men may bring in their wives. But women from the E.E.C. may bring in their husbands, so women of Asian origin feel they are discriminated against on the grounds of race and of sex. Individuals tell their stories.
