Consumer goods made of bleached wood pulp, such as tea bags, toilet paper, babies’ nappies, and tampons have been found to contain the deadly poison dioxin. The ‘World In Action’ programme looks at the growing awareness of this problem in other countries, and examines common household products for dioxin contamination. Britain compares badly with other countries in dealing with this problem.
