Demonstrates the use of four core techniques which are employed in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy. It is intended to provide illustrations of the use of these techniques to students who have read about CBT and who are beginning to practice it under appropriate supervision. Throughout the programme the therapist is demonstrating the collaborative and empirical style which typifies CBT. The patient role is acted.
