Description
Although suicide is no longer illegal, it is illegal to help someone commit suicide. This is the paradox which confronts hundreds of terminally ill, elderly or infirm people and those who must watch them suffer. This programme looks at the problem from all sides, including the views of EXIT, a society formed to help people who want to commit suicide and also the views of those who run hospices.
This film is of historical interest and reflects the cultural attitudes and language of the time it was made.
